Ultimate Eyes & Ears Combo

3 Items. One Price. 30% off.

You keep $70 in your pocket.

Hear the Range. Take the Call. Not the Shot.

The Bluetooth muff does everything the regular EXO Pro does. It amplifies range commands, your buddy, and ambient sounds up to 82dB, then cuts anything louder in 5ms.

And now adds a phone connection.

What that gets you: music between strings, a podcast during a long precision session, or the call from home you can't miss, all without pulling your ear pro off on a hot range.

Dual built-in mics mean the person on the other end hears you, not the bay next to you.

What it doesn't change: gel cups that seal around your glasses' temples, a fold-flat design, and a case that fits both.

FAQs

Should I wear earplugs under earmuffs?

For indoor ranges, rifle calibers and muzzle brakes, yes. Doubling up adds roughly 5 dB over the earmuff alone, not the full rating of the plugs, because sound also reaches the inner ear through bone conduction. That 5 dB still matters in a covered bay where every shot on the line is yours to absorb. Outdoors with pistol calibers, a well-sealed earmuff on its own is generally sufficient.

Is a combo kit cheaper than buying the items separately?

Yes. The Premium Eyes and Ears Combo contains $193 of gear for $135, and the Ultimate Eyes and Ears Combo contains $239 of gear for $169. Both include the shockproof case, which is a $35 item on its own and the piece most people skip and later wish they had. The savings come from the bundle rather than from lower-specification parts, so the earmuffs and glasses are identical to the ones sold individually.

What eye and ear protection do I need for my first range trip?

Two things, minimum: earmuffs rated for impulse noise and eyewear rated for impact. Gunshots routinely exceed 140 dB, which damages hearing instantly rather than gradually, and bullet splatter and steel ricochet come back toward the firing line more often than new shooters expect. Look for an NRR figure on the earmuffs and an ANSI Z87.1 marking on the glasses. A combo kit covers both in one purchase, with a case to carry them.

What does ANSI Z87.1 mean?

ANSI Z87.1 is a standard established by the American National Standards Institute (ANSI) for occupational and educational personal eye and face protection. The standard ensures that protective eyewear meets specific criteria for impact resistance, coverage, optical clarify, and other performance factors to protect users from hazards. Using ANSI Z87.1 certified eyewear ensures the glasses meets various rigorous safety standards, providing reliable protection.

What is the advantages of earmuff hearing protection?

Earmuffs provide effective noise reduction and full ear coverage. Earmuffs cover the entire outer ear which can provide a better and more consistent protection compared to some earplugs. They're also easy to use, making them convenient for intermittent use. For very loud guns, it is recommended that earmuffs are used alongside earplugs for even better hearing protection.

Can I wear earmuffs with other safety equipment like shooting glasses?

Many earmuffs are designed to be compatible with shooting glasses and other safety gear. Make sure your glasses have rather thin temples. If you're wearing a hat, make sure to adjust your earmuff around the hat to get a complete seal.

Buying Guide

Choosing the Right Combo Kit

Same gear, lower price, and one case that carries both. The only real question is which earmuff you want.

Every combo pairs a ShellShock earmuff with the SWITCH™ ballistic glasses and a shockproof case sized for both. The glasses and the case are the same in each kit, so the decision comes down to hearing protection: passive, electronic, or electronic with Bluetooth.

There is a second reason these are sold together, and it is not just the discount. PureSeal™ gel cups compress around the thin TR90 temples on the SWITCH frames instead of being propped open by them. A thick-armed pair of glasses breaks the seal on any earmuff, and a broken seal is lost protection. The kits are matched so that does not happen.

Why the glasses are the same in every kit: the SWITCH™ ships with clear and smoke lenses in the box, so one pair covers an indoor bay and an open range. It also carries the Z87.1+ rating — the plus meaning it passed the high-velocity impact test, which is the one that matters for bullet splatter and steel ricochet. Whichever kit you pick, the eyewear is never the weak link — only the earmuff changes.

Eyes & Ears Combo — the simplest setup that works

$84 · Saves $65 · EXO Passive + SWITCH™ + case · Currently sold out

The highest raw protection of any kit here at 23 dB NRR, and nothing in it can run out of battery. Passive muffs block everything, which is the right trade indoors where the range is loud regardless and commands come over a PA rather than from the lane beside you.

What you give up is situational awareness — you will not hear the range officer, your partner or the timer. If that matters, step up to the Premium kit. This one is currently out of stock; the EXO Passive and SWITCH™ can be bought separately in the meantime.

Premium Eyes & Ears Combo — the one most people should buy

$135 · Saves $58 · EXO Pro Electronic + SWITCH™ + case

Our best-selling earmuff paired with the glasses built to sit under it. The microphones stay open so you hear the range officer, your buddy and the timer, then digital compression closes in 0.005 seconds the moment sound crosses 82 dB and reopens before the next word.

The cheaper setup is rarely cheaper. Budget electronic muffs land around $50 and need another $20 in gel cups before they are comfortable for a full session, and that still does not upgrade the microphones or the electronics underneath. Add a second pair of glasses to cover changing light and a case that fits both, and you are past this price with worse gear.

Ultimate Eyes & Ears Combo — hear the range, take the call

$169 · Saves $70 · EXO Pro Bluetooth + SWITCH™ + case

Everything the Premium kit does, plus Bluetooth 5.4. Music between strings, a podcast through a long precision session, or the call you cannot miss — none of it requiring you to pull ear pro off on a hot range. Dual built-in microphones mean the person on the other end hears you rather than the bay next door.

The tradeoff is a small step down in raw protection, 21 dB NRR against the Premium kit's 22 dB, which is the cost of fitting an antenna and a battery into the cup. Worth it if you will use the connection, and not worth the extra $34 if you will not.

Which earmuff, in one line each

Want to hear what is happening around you while gunshots get cut — Premium. Want that plus music and phone calls — Ultimate. Shooting indoors where maximum protection matters more than hearing anything — the Eyes & Ears Combo, or the EXO Passive and SWITCH™ bought separately while it is out of stock.
